Alex Dunn, Managing Director and Head of Training & Development
Alex obtained a degree in Recreational Management from Sheffield Hallum University in 1996 and has had a full and diverse career ever since. He spent six years in the RAMC 208 Field Hospital as a combat medical technician with the Territorial Army.
Over the past nine years Alex has been working as a qualified HSE trainer and assessor, working with sports clubs, coaches and academic institutions in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. His roles have included teaching, assessing, risk assessment for journeys and trips as well as advising on health and safety. The experience Alex has gained over the past nine years stand him in good stead for his role as head of training and development. Helen Dunn, Marketing and Partnership Development Director
Helen developed extensive sales expertise in the course of working for a range of “blue chip” companies starting with direct sales through to third party partnership management, where strategic marketing and business development were key elements of the role. Success has been paramount in Helen’s career and she was BT Masters winner (for sales) and was identified for the Women in Management Programme.
She embarked on a successful change of career by retraining to become a qualified full time lecturer in English and holds a Post Compulsory Certificate in Education as well as level 4 qualifications in ESOL and Literacy. Helen also works as an examiner and assessor for Cambridge Examining Board and is currently working towards a Master degree in Training the Trainer. She is also part of the Skills 4 Sport First Aid Instructors team. A keen tennis player and skier, Helen also enjoys Kick Boxing and walking.
